Tottenham Hotspur have offered Galatasaray the chance to sign outcast winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou this month, according to Aksam

The Turkish newspaper report that Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim has been offered the French speed machine in light of the imminent departure of Garry Rodrigues to Al-Ittihad.

Aksam claim that N’Koudou is valued at £8million by Tottenham, who bought the 23-year-old for £11million from Marseille in the summer of 2016.

Galatasaray are set to compete in the last-32 of the Europa League after finishing third in their Champions League group this season.

Good move for Tottenham Hotspur?

Yes.

N’Koudou has become somewhat of a joke figure at Spurs after failing to break into the first-team since his £11million switch from Ligue 1 in 2016.

The young winger has been criticised on a regular basis by manager Mauricio Pochettino, who does not believe he has the mentality to reach the top of the game.

It is a shame that things have panned out this way because N’Koudou obviously has a lot of talent, but the Frenchman is clearly not cut out for this level and an exit this month at a £3million loss would be the best move for the club to make.

Likely to happen?

It looks like Spurs are indeed trying to ship N’Koudou out this month, but whether it would be to Galatasaray is not yet clear.

One issue could be finances, with the Turkish club unlikely to want to splash out £8million on a permanent deal which represents a lot of risk for them at the moment.

A more likely scenario would be a loan with an option to buy in the summer, in a deal which would give the Turkish side a chance to assess the player before splashing out.
