Henry Onyekuru wants to quit Everton and stay at Galatasaray once his season-long loan in Turkey expires, according to Star.

The Turkish news outlet claims that the 21-year-old forward is wanted by a number a clubs and the Toffees value him at being worth £8.8million.

Onyekuru joined Everton from KAS Eupen in 2017, but he is yet to make a single appearance in England having been unable to earn a work permit.

He is currently on a season-long loan at Galatasaray, who he has made 21 appearances for in all competitions and scored nine goals.

Good move for Everton?

It might be about time that the Toffees start to think about cashing in on Onyekuru.

The Nigeria international is in good form for Galatasaray at the moment, scoring five goals in his last two league appearances for the Turkish giants, however performances like those seem to be few and far between.

What is most concerning is that he is still struggling to play regularly in Nigeria’s international team, meaning that it is harder for him to earn a work permit in the UK.

Everton might be best off cashing in on him.

Likely to happen?

Onyekuru must be enjoying life in Istanbul if he wants to leave Goodison Park and join Galatasaray permanently.

If the player wants it to happen then there is a good chance it could happen.

However Everton are bound to wait at least one more season in the hope that he earns a work permit.
