OPINION
Jack Harrison has been widely criticised by sections of the Leeds United fanbase since he arrived in Yorkshire in the summer, however the Manchester City loanee may have changed a lot of views on him with a fine display against Nottingham Forest on New Year’s Day. Some Leeds supporters were gushing over the England Under-21 international for his performance in the first-half, and it seems that they were gutted to see him replaced by Jack Clarke at the break. It’s a change that Marcelo Bielsa usually always makes and it was definitely a good move because Clarke got on the scoresheet before the Whites’ collapse. It was a good sign for Harrison to play well though. The Yorkshire club are starting to slip up but at least there are some players who are showing some good flashes. It will be interesting to see if Bielsa does the same half-time switch in the next game with Harrison and Clarke both playing well.

Harrison did well out there today… but he needs someone like Pablo to show him how to slow his brain down when he gets an opening. Everything he does is so rushed/panicked. Needs to take an extra half second to find the right ball… #lufc
