Leeds United Sam Dalby could leave the club before the transfer window shuts tonight, according to Phil Hay.
The Yorkshire Evening Post correspondent reported on his personal Twitter account that a deal might be agreed for the forward, 19, to head out of Elland Road before the 11pm deadline.
Tom Pearce to Scunthorpe on loan would be a decent move for him. Leeds happy for him to go out until the end of the season. U23s forward Sam Dalby might depart as well. #lufc

Dalby has been playing solely for their Under-23s since signing from Leyton Orient in January of last year.
Good move for Leeds?
It makes sense for Dalby to go out on loan and get exposure to senior football. The teenager has had a taste of it, making 16 appearances in League Two for former club Orient before moving to Elland Road 12 months. The giant forward, who stands at 6ft 3in (source: Transfermarkt), has been a regular for Leeds Under-23s, and his combination of power, aerial prowess and impressive mobility make him a real handful. Dalby is technically decent and has an eye for goal, too. He is almost like a younger version of Marko Arnautovic, although he has plenty of rough edges that need smoothing off his game before he can be mentioned in the same breath as the Austrian titan.

Likely to happen?
Hay does not explain if Dalby will leave permanently, or on loan, but it would make more sense for the youngster to leave temporarily in order to get some senior first-team football. A short-term transfer to a club in the lower leagues is what is likely to be in the pipeline.
