OPINION

A complaint to the EFL and several interviews to TV saying that what Leeds did is cheating, and what do Derby do to ensure such a heinous crime isn’t committed again?

That was announced today by the official Derby County Twitter account, but it left Leeds fans completely bemused.

It seems to consist of some green mesh, similar to the stuff you get at B&Q, and it appears to be pretty much transparent.

Derby made the announcement on their official Twitter page on Thursday saying, “The Rams have taken extra measures as a result of #Spygate.”

They might have been hoping that they’d taken some extra security measures on their tweet, after it was invaded by a horde of Leeds fans all ready to rip their rivals apart.

One said it was “embarrassing”, while another said he couldn’t work out if it was legit or a parody.

Thankfully, the football worlds has moved on from spygate, although Leeds have still got to find out the result of the EFL investigation, supported by a letter from 11 Championship clubs, including Derby.

Perhaps Leeds could pay the £49.99 it must have cost Leeds to put the mesh up and we can draw a line underneath it once and for all.

In the meantime, here are the best reactions from Leeds fans:
