OPINION
Why is Manuel Pellegrini starting Arthur Masuaku? Aaron Cresswell has shown time and time again this season that he is the superior left-back at West Ham, yet Pellegrini still rotates between them like they have an equal status in his side. A section of supporters, justifiably, ripped into Masuaku for his display against Crystal Palace on Saturday. The former Olympiakos left-back simply cannot defend and even in attack, he is not that great. It is definitely an area of the squad that Pellegrini should look to improve in the January transfer window. West Ham spent a lot in the summer but failed to find an improvement on Cresswell or Masuaku. Neither are amazing options but Cresswell is much better than Masuaku. Hammers fans will be praying that they can get through December without many hitches because they need to sort this out as soon as possible. January can’t come soon enough.

I would love to know how @davidgold and David Sullivan feel about having to give Arthur Masuaku his paycheque each week. #StealingALiving
