Mauricio Pochettino is expected to make five changes to his starting line-up ahead of Tottenham’s clash against Leicester at the King Power Stadium on Saturday night.

Kieran Trippier picked up an injury in the win against Southampton on Wednesday while Ben Davies, Juan Foyth, Harry Winks and Lucas Moura could all be axed for the trip to the East Midlands.

That means that Serge Aurier, Jan Vertonghen, Ben Davies, Moussa Sissoko and Dele Alli are all expected to return to the side.

Hugo Lloris is likely to start behind a back-four of Aurier, Toby Alderweireld, Vertonghen, who served a one-match ban against the Saints, and Davies.

Eric Dier could start alongside Sissoko in the centre of the midfield with Alli, Christian Eriksen and Heung-min Son in front of them.

£75,000-a-week (Spotrac) star Lucas might have scored against Southampton but with Son’s form and Alli’s key role in the side, he is expected to be the man from the attack who gets axed.

Harry Kane is pretty much nailed-on to start up front against the Foxes, who will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing 1-1 draw at bottom-of-the-table Fulham on Wednesday.

Spurs go into the game third in the Premier League but they will know that dropping any points at Leciester could mean they will drop down to fifth if other results go against them.
