OPINION

After a brilliant night at Barcelona on Tuesday, it’s back to the Premier League with a bump on Saturday and a game that Tottenham simply must win against Burnley to keep pace at the top.

Tottenham might well have more options in defence this Saturday after manager Mauricio Pochettino said that Kieran Trippier, Serge Aurier, Juan Foyth and Davinson Sanchez are being assessed and have a chance of making it back for Saturday.

However, we think Saturday is going to come too soon and can see Pochettino keeping faith with Kyle Walker-Peters at right-back, along with Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen in the centre. Ben Davies should come in for £60k-a-week man Danny Rose at left-back in the first of three changes.

We’re expecting Eric Dier to come in for Harry Winks in defensive midfield, with Christian Eriksen and Moussa Sissoko sitting deep.

Lucas Moura should be rewarded for his vital goal with a start and we can see Son-heung Min dropping down to the bench.

Dele Alli and Harry Kane should make up the rest of the attack.

This is the starting XI we’re expecting Mauricio Pochettino to name on Saturday:
