Newcastle United travel to West Yorkshire to take on Huddersfield in a Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon, and Rafa Benitez is expected to make two changes to his starting XI.

The Magpies come into this one having failed to secure a win in their last three matches, with a last-gasp 2-1 defeat by Wolves last time out being a significant blow for Benitez and his squad.

Opponents Huddersfield sit in the relegation zone but are just three points behind Newcastle, with David Wagner’s side seeking to snap a three-game losing streak on Saturday.

Benitez stuck with three at the back against Wolves but is expected to revert to his preferred 4-4-1-1 formation against the Terriers.

In goal, Martin Dubravka is expected to retain his place.

In defence, Ciaran Clark is expected to make way for 6ft flyer Paul Dummett [Transfermarkt], who would be making his first appearance since November 10th, while DeAndre Yedlin is likely to be replaced by Javier Manquillo due to his red card suspension. Jamaal Lascelles and Federico Fernandez are likely to keep their spots.

A holding duo of Ki Sung-yueng and Mohamed Diame is expected to remain in midfield, with Matt Ritchie switching to the right wing while Christian Atsu is expected to line up on the left flank.

In attack, Ayoze Perez is likely to retain his place in behind Salomon Rondon, with that duo linking up to provide their only goal against Wolves last time out.
