Steven Gerrard must give Ovie Ejaria a second chance to prove his worth at Rangers by including him in the lineup for Sunday’s clash with Hamilton amongst three changes.

The 21-year-old, on loan from Liverpool, has reportedly suggested that he wants to leave the Glasgow club due to the physical nature of the Scottish game, but further reports in the Sun claim that he was back in training on Friday ahead of this weekend’s SPL action.

Ejaria is a talent and must learn to put the needs of the team before his own, and Gerrard can give him an opportunity to prove his loyalty by putting him in amongst the action on Sunday.

Elsewhere, Daniel Candeias and Eros Grezda should be given the nod over Glenn Middleton and Ross McCrorie to provide pace and trickery in the wide positions so that the Gers can really get at Hamilton.

The wide men have five goals between them in the SPL so far this campaign and lack of creativity was the Glaswegians’ undoing last week. Gerrard must find a way to reinvigorate his attack this time around.

Goalkeeper Allan McGregor and a backline of Borna Barisic, Connor Goldson, Gareth McAuley, and Jame Tavernier should remain intact, while Ryan Jack should occupy the holding midfield role.

Scott Arfield and Ejaria should complete a midfield trio, with Candeias and Grazda out wide.

Topscorer Alfredo Morelos will lead the line and round out the side.
