Everton will be looking to get their Premier League campaign back on track as they welcome Leicester City to Goodison Park on New Year’s Day, and Marco Silva must make three changes to his starting XI.

The Toffees fell to a disappointing 1-0 loss to Brighton last time out, with Silva’s side failing to follow up their 5-1 dismantling of Burnley in the previous game.

Opponents Leicester are also coming into this one on the back of a 1-0 loss, with the Foxes conceding an injury-time goal against Cardiff City at the King Power on Saturday.

In goal, Jordan Pickford must retain his place.

In defence, Jonjoe Kenny must replace talisman Seamus Coleman on the right, with the skipper off-colour of late, while Micheal Keane, Yerry Mina and Lucas Digne all must keep their places. Kurt Zouma must drop to the bench as Silva reverts to a back four.

In midfield, Andre Gomes and Idrissa Gueye must remain in place, while Gylfi Sigurdsson must be restored in the playmaker position in place of the axed Zouma.

In attack must come another change, with the hopeless mainstay Theo Walcott, who has made 19 league appearances this season, dropping out for youngster Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who takes his place up front. This means Bernard switches to the right flank, with Richarlison reverting to his favoured position on the left.

Overall this is an Everton XI with more than enough firepower to dispatch Leicester and return to winning ways on Tuesday.
