Chelsea struggled to break down a resolute Crystal Palace side on Sunday and it is clear to see from this section of fans that they are not happy with the first-half performance of Willian. While he has been involved in a couple of set plays, and was unucky when he hit the woodwork from one, he has not really offered anything going forward – just like one fan has pointed out. The fact that one fan was “tired” of the playmaker after just one minute just goes to show that the Brazilian is not in for an easy ride in this game. While Willian has not been dreadful in the first half, it is clear to see that he is not at his best. One fan questioned why he is even a “professional footballer” – which is arguably a bit harsh considering he has not been too bad this season. We all know he is a quality player, he just needs to start showing it a bit more often – otherwise he is just going to be subjected to this type of criticism all of the time.
