COMMENTARY
It is no surprise to see Celtic fans rushing to Twitter to comment on Rangers’ misfortunes, but their rivalry is running a little deeper this season thanks to the title race that is going on at the top of the table. The points dropped by the Gers – or Sevco, as the Parkhead faithful will call them – mean that the Hoops have a tight grip on first position at the top of the division now, with a two point lead and a game in hand over their rivals. Rangers know that they cannot afford to be letting points slip away when they are taking on the side sitting at the bottom of the table – not to mention the fact they had 10 men for most of the game. Still, their struggles are providing the Celtic supporters with plenty of entertainment and with an Old Firm clash pencilled in at the end of December, the Gers will want to make sure they are in touching distance in the table to keep the pressure on in the new year.

How often do we see a team struggle after a big win. Celtic drew against a tough Motherwell last week, Rangers struggle against a determined Dundee after winning the weekend league only a week ago.
