OPINION
Morgan Gibbs-White has captured the attention of football fans everywhere with his recent performances for Wolves – especially with his star turn in the shock 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Molineux in midweek. Given his standout display, it would have been for to assume that the 18-year-old would be in contention for a place in the starting 11 when the Midlands club travelled to face Newcastle at St. James’ Park on Sunday afternoon. Instead the young man was benched, leading to widespread dismay from Wolves fans on social media. In fairness to Nuno Espirito Santo, the issue could be argued either way. Caution is understandable with such a precocious talent, and the manager will be wary of placing too much responsibility on the striker, especially when he has other options available. That being said, if you’re good enough, you’re old enough, and Gibbs-White has been a shining light for Wolves so far this season. The assumption must be that as the campaign progresses, so will the frequency of the prospects opportunities.
Dropping Gibbs white is a massive mistake by Nuno, other than that i still love the bloke ?

Costa+traore = 0 goals today, that is baffling why Gibbs white and Jimenez aren’t in instead! At least saiss has kept his place

Not going to lie, the fact Gibbs-White isn't starting annoys me https://t.co/S74uTbktCx

Costa starting? Bad decision, he doesn't work hard enough, we should play the formation we played against chelsea with Gibbs White and Jimenez in the middle.
