Celtic secured a much-needed 2-1 win over RB Leipzig in the Europa League on Thursday night, but many fans have taken to Twitter to destroy Mikael Lustig for his display.
Kieran Tierney gave the Hoops the lead in the first-half with a low finish after some nice work from James Forrest on the right flank, and despite a goal from Leipzig, Odsonne Edouard sealed the win.
Celtic fans have been reacting to the result on Twitter, with many singling out Lustig for criticism after another uncertain display from the Sweden international.

COMMENTARY
These Celtic fans seem pretty unimpressed with Lustig’s display against RB Leipzig, and you can certainly see where they are coming from. The long-serving right-back looked relatively solid at times but his performance was let down by a couple of moments of madness which underline the growing concern about his suitability for this level anymore. One of those moments saw him inexplicably attempt a back heel near his own box, with the decision not costing Celtic but still putting hearts in mouths. Lustig has been putting in performances like this one for a long while now, and has cost Celtic on so many occasions already. The longer they keep him around the more it will happen, and it is surely time for a new right-back soon. Lustig has been a brilliant servant for the Hoops, and will go down as a brilliant player in the club’s history, but it looks like now is the time to cut ties with the 31-year-old.

Lustig can be a liability at times, man.
