COMMENTARY
Rangers fans are not just passionate about the stars they currently have at Ibrox but the stars of tomorrow and one man that is certainly catching the eye is Greg Docherty. Sent on loan to Shrewsbury over the summer, the midfielder has been in brilliant form and continued to show his worth with a goal against Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday night. The Gers faithful were left raving on Twitter and understandably so, for he is looking a cut above in League One – although it might be a bit soon to bring him back to the club. It bodes really well for the player and the Light Blues that he is performing so well during his temporary spell and manager Steven Gerrard must be keeping a very close eye on his development as he tries to forge a future in Glasgow. If he continues to keep scoring, Tuesday’s strike his sixth goal of the season, then there is little doubting that he will be making an impact at Ibrox soon enough. Until then, the Gers faithful will continue to celebrate his impressive performances with Shrewsbury.
