Croatia international Sime Vrsaljko is set to miss Inter Milan’s Champions League clash against Tottenham after being absent from training today (Tuesday), according to a Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Sky Sports Italy journalist reported on his personal website that the 26-year-old was the only player who did not practice with the rest of the group in the final training session before the match at the club’s Appiano Gentile headquarters.

Vrsaljko missed the first meeting between the clubs at San Siro in September with a knee injury but he had started to get into a decent rhythm and had emerged as the favoured choice at right-back before breaking down with another problem. His absence is a boost to Spurs’ hopes of extending their winning run.
