Many Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to rightly slaughter centre-back David Luiz after their disappointing loss to Tottenham on Saturday. The Blues were totally outplayed by a rampant Spurs side who dominated from the first whistle, and Luiz was the worst of the lot on the night. The Brazil international was all at sea on several occasions as he and Antonio Rudiger struggled to contain a dangerous Tottenham attack. The low point of the match for Luiz was his pathetic attempted tackle on Son Heung-min before the South Korea international rolled home Tottenham’s third to put the game out of sight. The way in which Luiz just let the Spurs star blast past him was laughable, and he has now attracted major criticism from the Blues faithful. The reactions of these fans below tell you all you need to know, with one saying Luiz is ‘massively overrated’, with a couple of others calling on the club to sell the Brazil international.
