Victor Orta must ensure that Hadi Sacko is binned next year after the Leeds United attacker returns from his loan spell at Las Palmas.

Sacko, 24, joined the Spanish second-tier side on a season-long deal in the summer, but since returning to the Iberian peninsula, the former Sporting CP player has simply not been good enough and it proves hat he is well short of the quality required at Elland Road.

The Mali international has played just four times for Las Palmas since joining them in July, and with such little game-time, he may as well have stayed in Yorkshire sitting on the fringes of the squad last season.

Director of football Orta was responsible for signing the winger on a permanent deal in 2017 after a loan stint at Elland Road, but the Spaniard must now right that wrong and ensure that 2019 is the year that Sacko is binned off.

It may be hard to attract attention for the attacker though as he is clearly struggling in Spain’s Segunda Division, so not many clubs would want to sign him.

But it would be better off if Leeds can just let him go for as little as possible to ensure that they do not waste another season of his wages and cut their losses.
