A section of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to annihilate Mikael Lustig for his performance in the 4-2 win against Hibernian at Parkhead on Saturday afternoon.
Lustig, 32, has been the centre of a lot of criticism during the last couple of season and calls for him to be moved on have grown louder after his latest clanger against Hibs.
Many Celtic fans took aim at the Sweden international after Hibs’ second goal, with one saying that the could should “get rid” of the senior right-back.

Been a great servant but Lustig is done. How many goals does he cost us.

That’s embarrassing from Lustig. He’s got to be stronger there.

OPINION
It seems like every time that Lustig plays he gets torn to shreds by the Celtic fans, and you can see why. Brendan Rodgers constantly plays the Sweden international even though he has way more shockers than he does good performances. Cristian Gamboa must be thinking what he has to do to get a game right now because he would definitely be more useful in league games where the Hoops attack more. Both Lustig and Gamboa are out of contract at the end of the season so it will be interesting to see if Rodgers hands one, if any of them, a new deal. Neither should though. Celtic can sign better players than both of them. Lustig fails to concentrate and looks like he is running through mud. Gamboa has pace, but cannot defend. Celtic need an all-rounder on the right or at least someone who is solid defensively to help them in the big European games.
