OPINION
This section of Villa fans are obviously impressed by Tuanzebe’s display at Blackburn, and you can see why. The young Manchester United defender looked solid all day long at the back, and is quite obviously more comfortable in the middle than on the right. Bruce has so far refused to play the versatile starlet in the middle much at all, but hopefully this performance will illustrate to him that centre-back is Tuanzebe’s best position. There are still some improvements to be made in his game, namely his passing and distribution, but the foundations are there for Tuanzebe to become a brilliant player in the future. A good start, as mentioned, would be the chance to play in his preferred position for Villa on a regular basis, and with so few options at the back there is no reason why Bruce should not do this, with Alan Hutton or Ahmed Elmohamady able to play on the right.
