Rangers are playing Livingston in the Premiership at the moment, and fans watching on Sky Sports are amazed at how many fans they’ve brought to the away game.

Many fans pointed out that they seemed to have about three-quarters of the stadium, with one asking how big their allocation was.

Other fans were loving how loud the Rangers fans were and the atmosphere they were creating.

They haven’t seen much to get them excited so far though, with the score currently at 1-0 to the home side, with Livingston taking a shock lead in the 33rd minute.

Here are the best reactions to the Rangers support today:

OPINION

Rangers have always been blessed with some of the best and most passionate fans in the game, but they’ve been totally energised by the new Steven Gerrard revolution. They were in fine voice against a Livingston side that must have thought they were playing at Ibrox. Aside from the awful pitch, that is. Livingston have been on a good run – unbeaten at home in the last five Premiership games, and they’ve only conceded one goal in that spell. They almost took the lead in the first-half after some uncharacteristically bad defending from Rangers, but eventually made the breakthrough after some poor defending from Rangers. Gerrard will have to work his magic in the dressing room at half-time. However, there’s a real argument that says that artificial surfaces should be banned in the top-flight in Scotland. There’s no way that the surface should have such an effect in games like this, with several Rangers players slipping and struggling to read the bounce. The pitch shouldn’t dictate what happens in a game and it’s something that really needs looking at.
