West Brom manager Darren Moore must axe Ahmed Hegazi if he wants to field his best possible line-up against Millwall at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.

The Baggies are yet to keep a clean sheet in the Championship this season and the £10million-rated [ESPN] centre-back has been at the heart of too many poor defensive displays.

Sam Field must come in for Hegazi, with Gareth Barry pushed back on to the left-side of the back-three so Moore has a natural left-footer in that position and has someone with a bit more mobility and tactical awareness.

West Brom should once again line up in their 3-4-2-1 formation, which players appear to be getting more and more used to by the game.

Despite not keeping a clean sheet for West Brom since his summer arrival, Sam Johnstone has been looking sharp as of late and must start in goals behind a back-three of Craig Dawson, Kyle Bartley, who could benefit by playing in the middle, and Barry.

Matt Phillips and Kieran Gibbs should remain as the wing-backs in this side, however Phillips should be expected to push forward a lot more with Dawson moving back behind him to cover the right flank.

In the middle, Jake Livermore should partner Field, who earned his first league appearance since Moore took charge of the Black Country club in the 4-2 win over Bristol City on Tuesday.

Albion’s front three has been in electric form this season, especially at home, so Harvey Barnes playing behind Dwight Gayle and Jay Rodriguez is an absolute no-brainer for Moore.
