Some Rangers fans on social media heaped praise on midfielder Ryan Jack for his display against FC Ufa on Thursday.
Steven Gerrard’s side achieved a 1-0 victory over the Russian side at Ibrox on Thursday in the first-leg of their Europa League play-off clash.
While several players put in excellent displays, several Gers fans opted to tweet their appreciation for Jack’s performance during the game with one claiming that it was incredible how much he has improved under Gerrard.
Jack joined the Gers from Aberdeen in 2017 and has gone on to make a total of 27 appearances for the club so far.

OPINION
Another excellent display by Jack sees fans continue to heap the praise on him and it’s no more than he deserves. The 5ft 9in tall midfielder (Source: Transfermrkt) has looked in tip-top form when he has featured this season and it’s easy to see why supporters act like Steven Gerrard has waved a magic wand over him. While Jack submitted some very solid displays during his 21 outings for the Gers next season, he does look like he has raised his game to a whole new level in the early stages of the current season. If the 26-year-old is able to keep flourishing and improving at the same time then it’s clear that he will be key to his side getting success this season as one fan suggested. However as that supporter mentioned it will be important to keep Jack injury free in order to fully benefit from his talents this season. The midfielder disappointingly ended his 2017/18 campaign on the sidelines due to a knee injury and he was a noticeable absentee.
