A section of Everton fans have been reacting on social media after it was confirmed that Nikola Vlasic has left Goodison Park to join CSKA Moscow on loan.
The Toffees announced on their official Twitter account on Wednesday that Vlasic, 20, has agreed to join the Russian giants on a temporary deal until the end of the season.

Vlasic was signed by Ronald Koeman last summer but has since struggled for game-time, and some Everton fans on Twitter are glad to see the back of the Croatia international, with calls for Yannick Bolasie to follow.

OPINION
Vlasic has not had a great spell at Everton and he is more than likely going to leave on a permanent basis at some point unless he does something spectacular while on loan at CSKA Moscow. The former Hadjuk Split star has made just 19 appearances across all competitions since joining the Blues last summer, with most of them coming in cup games, Europa League ties and off the bench. Marco Silva has added to his attacking options with the likes of Bernard and Richarlison, so Vlasic’s game-time is bound to be next to nothing if he stayed. Some Everton fans seem to think that he can return to Goodison Park if he does well in Russia, but there’s probably no chance for the 20-year-old. In the Premier League, there has to be an instant impact otherwise you’re no good. Vlasic hasn’t had any impact at all so it is unlikely Silva will give him another chance next year regardless of what happens in Moscow.
