COMMENTARY:
Interestingly, there are as many messages from Irish fans as Spurs ones in reaction to the striker penning his first deal with the London giants. Raised in Dublin, the youngster has earned rave reviews in recent years for his performances at club and youth international level, prompting a stampede of elite clubs to beat a path to his door. Tottenham have a number of talented young strikers in their ranks such as Shayon Harrison, Reo Griffiths and Kazaiah Sterling but have lost the services of Ryan Loft in the last few weeks as he prepares to join Leicester City. There is excitement around Parrott because of his scoring record and his many attributes, including strength, power, skill and bravery. Parrott should be a handful for opposing defences at Under-18s and Under-23s level next season. Spurs and Irish fans will be watching closely.
