A section of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to deliver mixed verdicts to a report that Marcus Antonsson is close to joining Malmo.
Swedish outlet Expressen claim Antonsson is set to undergo a medical at the Swedish champions today as he finalises the details of the move after United granted permission for him to quit.
Leeds supporters took to social media to react to the seemingly imminent exit of the 27-year-old, amid interest in whether the deal is a permanent one or a loan.

Surely we MUST have a striker/strikers lined up Adam.

Good luck to the lad, hope he settles in and after his contract with #LUFC ends, he does enough to get a contract with #Malmo.

COMMENTARY:
The blizzard of Leeds exits continue apace. Antonsson has become the 10th player to quit the club this summer and the second striker this week following 19-year-old Mallik Wilks’ loan move to Doncaster Rovers. Like Wilks, Antonsson hasn’t strayed too far from home as he returns to his native Sweden following two years in England. The forward is not an unpopular player among fans – far from it – and one has even urged the club to negotiate a buy-back clause for someone who scored eight goals while on loan at Blackburn Rovers last season. But most are keen for the club to use the money freed up on the wage bill to bring in a top-class striker who can consistently plunder goals.
