West Brom are set to wrap up their fourth signing of the summer transfer window within the next 48 hours, according to the Express & Star.

The newspaper claims via their website that with James McClean closing in on a £6million move to Stoke, the Baggies are close to signing a replacement winger, who is yet to be named.

Albion have already completed deals for Sam Johnstone, Jonathan Bond and Kyle Bartley this summer, and now it seems as though Darren Moore is finally going to make an addition to the attacking part of his squad.

OPINION

West Brom’s transfer window has been a bit dull, however it looks as though things are finally going to get exciting within the next couple of days. McClean has really divided opinion at West Brom and his decision to skip training earlier this month has seen fans really turn on him despite many of them supporting him over the last few years. Albion will get getting £5million up front for the Ireland international, with a further £1million in add-ons, which is a really good deal considering how much a liability the Irish winger is. Hopefully this replacement is someone good who has experience in the Championship and is an improvement on the hot-headed McClean. Albion very much seem as though they are only operating on a deal-by-deal basis this summer. As one player is sold, another is brought in to replace them. Salomon Rondon, Craig Dawson, Nacer Chadli and Jay Rodriguez could all see the Baggies make some serious money this summer if they were to sell the quartet, two of which who have release clauses.
