A section of Leeds United fans have been left blown away by the performance of Mateusz Klich in the 4-3 pre-season friendly win against Guiseley on Thursday.
Klich, 28, has appeared to have become one of Marcelo Bielsa’s key players during the pre-season programme, despite being frozen out by Thomas Christiansen last season.
The rarely-seen Poland international was shipped out on loan to Utrecht in January after making just 10 appearances across all competitions for the Yorkshire giants, and his form in the Netherlands was certainly good enough to warrant a second chance to impress at Elland Road.
And it appears that Klich is impressing, with some fans taking to Twitter to rave about his performance against non-league Guiseley.

OPINION
Klich was treated very harshly last season and definitely deserves another chance to impress after an impressive loan spell at Utrecht and now his form in pre-season. He started six games last term in all competitions, with Leeds winning three of them. He came off the bench three times in the Championship too, and the Whites won two of them. The former Twente midfielder certainly has something to offer and hopefully these fans get their wish and see him play more often next term under Marcelo Bielsa, because it will be like having a new signing if he is able to keep up this form when it really counts.
