Everton are on the verge of completing the signing of Barcelona left-back Lucas Digne on a five-year deal, according to Foot Mercato.
The French news outlet claimed on their official Twitter account on Monday that Digne, 25, is scheduled to undergo a medical with the Merseyside club tomorrow (Tuesday).

It appears that the France international is now due to be Everton’s second signing of the summer transfer window, following Richarlison in joining Marco Silva at Goodison Park.
Good move for Everton?
Everton are in desperate need of adding quality and depth to their full-back options and Digne is bound to be a quality signing for the Merseyside club.
The former Lille and Paris Saint-Germain left-back made 20 appearances across all competitions for Barcelona last season and while he is behind Jordi Alba in the pecking order at the Nou Camp, that is of no detriment to how good the Frenchman is.
Digne is going to be an upgrade on the ageing Leighton Baines and his attacking style of play is bound to be a big hit on Merseyside.
There is just over a week left to go before the summer transfer window slams shut and it seems that Everton are only just getting started.

Digne has been linked with Everton pretty much all summer and it finally appears as though his move to Goodison Park is about to be completed.
With a medical planned for Tuesday and a five-year deal ready for him to put his signature on, it’s safe to say that Evertonians can start getting his name printed on their shirts for the upcoming 2018/19 Premier League season.
