Leeds United posted an Instagram story on their official page on Saturday afternoon, hinting that a new signing was just around the corner.
The post simply said “MRI done” with a picture of an unknown player undergoing his medical.
This comes after Wolves left-back Barry Douglas was spotted at Elland Road earlier on Saturday by an eagle-eyed fan.

Leeds love tormenting their fans on social media but it looks like this deal is all but done, with them posting a picture from his medical. If we were betting men we’d say those feet belong to Barry Douglas, and he will be a brilliant signing for Leeds. He tormented defences in the Championship last season, registering the most assists of any player. He’s also solid at the back. He’ll be a great buy – if those feet actually do belong to him, of course. Knowing Leeds this will be the precursor for an official announcement later on tonight, and if Leeds fans have seen Douglas in action, they’ll know that this is a major signing for a player who will have a huge impact at Elland Road. Once this one’s over the line it will be back to securing the services of a new striker, with Patrick Bamford and Matej Vydra the two players Leeds are currently being strongly linked with.
