West Ham laboured to a pre-season friendly win against Ipswich on Saturday afternoon, and fans were angered by the display from Cheikhou Kouyaté.
The 28-year-old midfielder has come in for some sustained criticism from Hammers fans last season and it’s carried over to the summer.
He put in another poor display today, although to be fair he wasn’t the only one.
Felipe Anderson, Marko Arnautovic and Arthur Masuaku were the only three West Ham players to stand out, despite the win.
However, Kouyate was singled out again by West Ham fans who hope that’s the last they’ll see of him in the Claret & Blue.
Here are the best reactions from angry West Ham fans:
Could it be Kouyate's last game in a West Ham shirt? I reckon so

Kouyate rated at £15 mill is a joke, I know Football is a business, but for effs sake get rid of him, if this performance is his ‘shop window’ we’d be lucky to get a kit kat and a set of tracksuits for him

Can we not just donate Kouyate to palace? As like a good will gesture?

I was hoping this game was to put Kouyate in the shop window but we couldn’t give him away after that half.

Need to sell Kouyate and Obiang and get some replacements I think.

Can’t wait to sell Kouyate literally offers nothing to the team and his touch is worse than lukaku’s (@chrislbetts)

OPINION
If West Ham fans were hoping this would be a shop window for Kouyaté, many of then think they’d struggle to give him away after performances like today’s. One fan came up with a solution, saying they should just give him to Crystal Palace as a goodwill gesture. Another said that West Ham should sell him as soon as possible, while others said they hoped this was his last game in a West Ham shirt. It doesn’t look like Kouyate will have much of a future in the new Pellegrini reign.
