A section of Celtic fans have been reacting on Twitter after it was reported that West Ham have made contact about signing Olivier Ntcham this summer.
French newspaper L’Equipe claims that the Hammers have approached the Scottish treble winners with an enquiry about Ntcham, 22, in recent hours as the midfielder’s form in Glasgow continues to improve.
Celtic signed Ntcham from Manchester City last summer for £4.5million, and he has since scored 10 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions, with his latest coming against Rosenborg in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
And some Hoops fans refuse to believe that the key first teamer will be going anywhere this summer despite reports of West Ham’s interest.

OPINION
These Celtic fans shouldn’t be too overconfident about keeping hold of Ntcham. Most of Celtic’s best players end up moving to the Premier League before too long and Ntcham will more than likely follow suit at some stage in his career. Whether or not the report is true or West Ham are willing to follow up in their initial enquiry, it is testament to just how well the 22-year-old has done at Parkhead. He is arguably one of Brendan Rodgers’ best signings and would fetch the club a handsome fee if he was sold – however it is unlikely to be the £70million that one fan has mentioned.
