Liverpool appear to be building a formidable squad for the 2018/19 squad, with the new arrivals of Fabinho and Naby Keita really improving the options in midfield.

The Reds need to build on their run to the Champions League final by spending big this summer and that could result in them being in the mix for all silverware across the board.

Jurgen Klopp needs to try bring in a couple more defensive options at Anfield ahead of next year and finding an adequate back-up option to Andrew Robertson at left-back must be imperative.

Spanish full-back Alberto Moreno has shown over the years that he is far too inconsistent and the Merseyside club need to add a different option to compete with Robertson.

One man that should crop up on their radar is Manchester City youngster Angelino, who is reportedly on the radar of Everton.

The Sun claims that Everton want to try add the £10million-rated defender to their ranks over the summer after a nod of approval from director of football Marcel Brands and that Man City are open to selling him.

Angelino would tick a lot of the boxes for Liverpool and the 21-year-old could be moulded into a modern-day full-back by Klopp.

The Spanish left-back has impressed out on loan with Dutch outfit NAC Breda this season and managed seven assists in his 35 appearances.

He is a dazzling 5ft 7in (source: Transfermrkt) full-back recognised for his pace and trickery, which is why he would be the perfect understudy to Robertson in years to come.

Liverpool should be looking to pick up a potential bargain in the shape of Angelino, as his valuation could treble if he performs in English football for a year and he appears to have all the skills to become a star in the near future.
