Leeds United are set to get rid of midfielder Ouasim Bouy just a year after signing him on a free transfer from Italian giants Juventus, according to reliable journalist Phil Hay.
The Yorkshire Evening Post writer, who is known as one of the most reputed reporters covering the Whites, delivered a definitive three word verdict on the future of the 25-year-old on his personal Twitter account when probed by a Leeds fan, stating: “He’ll be gone.”

Bouy will be judged as a massive flop signing, having failed to get anywhere near the expected heights while at Elland Road following his arrival in the summer of 2017.
He failed to make a first team appearance, and was shipped out to Cultural Leonesa for the first half of the season where he managed just four outings for the second tier Spanish side.
Opinion
Bouy’s impending exit is likely to come as little surprise to the Leeds faithful, although many might have forgotten he even existed until his name was mentioned. He will go down as one of many poor purchases by the Whites, with much blame being thrown at the feet of director of football Victor Orta. The Dutch midfielder never even looked close to breaking into the first team, which begs the question as to why Juventus not only had him on their books, but even gave him the opportunity to appear for their senior side. He will likely move on for a minimal fee to some lower ranked European side, where he can kick on in his career with some much needed first team football. His exit will also help clear up the wage bill, plus any transfer fee will come as profit to Leeds – although that will hardly come as a boost after a year of paying his wages without any sort of return.
