Liverpool travel to rivals Chelsea on Sunday afternoon for a Premier League clash and know that they will have all but secured a top four finish if they avoid defeat.
The Merseyside club have sprung a slight surprise with their starting XI, as Trent Alexander-Arnold has god the nod in midfield ahead of captain Jordan Henderson.
Alexander-Arnold has broken into the first team this campaign and cemented his position at right-back, where he has been exceptional.
The 19-year-old is an attack-minded full-back that is technically capable and will line up as a central midfielder in the huge clash with Chelsea.
He has previously featured at youth level and briefly in midfield for Liverpool, but to make that call in such a high-profile match is definitely a gamble by Klopp.
Alexander-Arnold will be up against one of the best midfielders in world football in the shape of N’Golo Kante, who normally doesn’t give his opponents a sniff.
The Liverpool teenager will need to be at his very best to deal with him, while Cesc Fabregas is another to worry about.
There is no doubt that Alexander-Arnold belongs in that Liverpool XI, but he should be in there in his favoured position at right-back ahead of Nathaniel Clyne.
Klopp is in the Liverpool hotseat to make these big decisions and is confident that the English youngster can perform for him.
