Rangers fans want O’Halloran gone

|

Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to tear into Michael O’Halloran for watching Celtic win the Scottish Cup on Saturday, and many now want the forward to be forced out of Ibrox this summer.

O’Halloran, 27, was spotted surrounded by Hoops supporters at Hampden Park as Brendan Rodgers’ side wrapped up a double-treble last week by beating Motherwell 2-0.

His agent Kenny Moyes has since been quoted by the Daily Record as apologising on behalf of the attacker, who spent the first half of the season on loan at St Johstone before returning to Ibrox in January.

Since his loan at McDiarmid Park expired, O’Halloran has managed to earn just a single minute of league football for Rangers with it looking more than likely that he will be off in the summer transfer window.

Supporters cannot wait for him to leave now though after he watched the Celtic game on Saturday.

One fan claimed that the Gers should look to “get rid” of the former St Johnstone player.

Here is a selection of their tweets:

O’Halloran signed for Rangers from St Johnstone in 2016 for £500,000.

He has since made 38 appearances across all competitions for the Gers, scoring three goals in the process.

The 27-year-old was in decent form when on loan at St Johnstone in the first half of the campaign, finding then net five times in 15 league games for Tommy Wright’s side.
