Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez has promised Kenedy that he will have near-guaranteed first team football if he rejoins from Chelsea this summer, according to the Chronicle.

The newspaper report that the agent of the Brazilian speed machine is currently keeping tabs of the options that are coming his way, with the likes of Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Arsenal all said to be eyeing up a swoop for the 22-year-old.

However, with the squads of the European giants full of talent already, they would struggle to find space for the Chelsea man, and Benitez has made the crucial promise to give him senior action in crunch talks over his future.

It is said another loan deal could be on the table after he dazzled his way into the hearts of the Toon Army following his temporary move back in January.

Good move for Newcastle?

Without a shadow of a doubt.

The fact that such reputable names in world football are being linked with a move for the Brazilian shows just how talented the youngster is and Newcastle were lucky to have him for the short time that they did.

They will be hoping that Benitez had an impact on him and that he feels he can further both himself and the club were he to make the move.

Promising him first team football is a smart move by Benitez and it puts doubt in Kenedy’s mind over whether making a move elsewhere would result in the same situation he is in at Chelsea.

Likely to happen?

Who knows what will happen, for there are far too many determining factors which are as yet unknown.

Will Antonio Conte still be Chelsea manager? Can Newcastle afford him? Does he want to play for the football or for the money?

Newcastle can consider them pretty near the front of the queue but there is no definitive way to say whether they could pull off a move.

A loan might be more beneficial to Chelsea and if that is the case, they will want him playing regularly, pushing the Magpies right to the front.
