Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is expected to make one change to his starting 11 for the Champions League final against Real Madrid in Kiev on Saturday night.

Dominic Solanke will more than likey be axed after he was drafted in to earn a rare start against Brighton on the final day of the Premier League season earlier this month.

James Milner is expected to return to the line-up as Liverpool aim to win their sixth European title against the reigning champions.

Loris Karius is expected to keep his place in goal behind an unchanged back-four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dejan Lovren, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson.

Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wignaldum could start in the midfield three alongside senior player Milner, who is likely to return to the starting line-up for what will no doubt be the biggest game of his stellar career.

In attack, it would be highly unlikely if Klopp goes with anything that isn’t Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

Solanke, who earns £20,000-a-week accosting to statistics website Spotrac, will more than likely drop to the bench for the clash in Kiev that could see Liverpool win their sixth European title at the expense of Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid.

Neither side has any players suspended for the final while Liverpool will certainly be without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joe Gomez, who are injured.

The Reds announced the 24-man squad that will travel to Ukraine on their official website on Thursday with Emre Can back from injury and likely to make the bench.
