Tottenham are reportedly interested in a summer move for Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves – and the club’s supporters on Twitter have given a big thumbs up on a potential swoop for him.
The Daily Mirror reports that Spurs are lining up a raid for the 21-year-old after watching him help Wolves secure promotion from the Championship this season.
It is understood the North London club are open to offers for their central midfielder Mousa Dembele, which has seen their attention turn to the Portugal international in England’s second-tier division.
Neves is a highly-rated talent that has guided Wolves to the Championship title this campaign and been a mainstay in their side.
He is used as a deep-lying playmaker in front of the back four and has proven he has a brilliant range of passing.
The midfielder has also chipped in with six goals across all competitions, which have included some spectacular strikes that could be in their own goal of the season competition.
Neves was previously on the books with Portuguese giants Porto and decided to pursue a career in English football last summer.
