Graham Dorrans completed 90 minutes in the win over Hearts on Sunday afternoon – and Rangers fans on Twitter praised the midfielder for his performance.
The 30-year-old helped the Gers bounce back with a league victory after their 4-0 humiliation in the Scottish Cup semi-final at the hands of Celtic.
Graeme Murty’s side climbed up to second in the league table with three points, as they edged out Hearts 2-1 at Ibrox.
Jason Cummings opened the scoring early into the second-half, before Daniel Candeias added a second shortly after.
Hearts defender Christophe Berra set up a nervous finish with his goal, but the hosts managed to hold on and will be keen to finish the season in second above rivals Aberdeen.
Rangers fans on social media have discussed the display of deep-lying playmaker Dorrans and feel he made a positive impact on the game.
He has made his comeback recently from a long-term ankle injury and forced his way back into the starting XI.
There has been a suggestion that he should be deployed in a more advanced position, but Murty has opted to use him as a deeper central midfielder for the majority.

Dorrans showing graft, heart and a willingness to do battle here. That’s all Rangers fans want when the players are on the pitch. Passion from the team. Anything less is unforgivable. ????

Dorrans, Candeias and above all Murphy playing a blinder. Dorrans close to his best physically bossing the midfield at will and Murphy being Murphy, so unstoppable.
