Rangers fans took to social media to slam defender Russell Martin for his performance against Celtic on Sunday.
The Gers slumped to a 4-0 defeat courtesy of their bitter rivals in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup, and fans were particularly furious with Martin due to his display.
One fan tweeted that the 32-year-old was the worst centre-half that they had ever seen and that is even considering that they have watched themselves play football.
While another supporter questioned how Martin was even a professional player as he was playing like he was in the non league stage of his career.
The 32-year-old enforcer only joined the Gers in January, arriving from Norwich City on loan until the end of the season.
However despite only being at Ibrox for a matter of months, one fan wished to never see him in a Gers shirt again after watching him playing against the Hoops.
Martin has played 12 times for Graeme Murty’s side, including Sunday’s outing, scoring one goal in the process.
The Gers will now have to pick themselves up after suffering a heavy defeat in the latest Old Firm derby, as they’re back in action next weekend against Hearts.
