Kieran Trippier has once again been a brilliant player for Tottenham this season, but he is criminally underrated by so many supporters.

The 27-year-old would definitely walk into most teams in the Premier League and deserves much more recognition for the level of his performances each week.

He has managed to remain as the first-choice right-back ahead of the highly rated Serge Aurier, despite the fact that manager Mauricio Pochettino does like to rotate at times.

There were huge concerns from a large selection of the Spurs fanbase when Kyle Walker left to join Manchester in the summer for a reported £54million fee, but Trippier has managed to step up to the plate.

The duo are both now on international duty with England ahead of two friendlies and provide excellent options in the full-back area.

Trippier has definitely improved defensively under Pochettino since he joined the North London club and is learning his positioning more when playing alongside some world-class centre-backs at Spurs.

Meanwhile, he has continued to maintain the attacking edge to his game that has been a big weapon of his since his days with Burnley.

He has made 29 appearances across all competitions this season and supplied a brilliant eight assists in return.

His phenomenal work-rate up and down the right flank will surely not go unnoticed by his teammates and he would be a superstar at most other clubs in England.

Spurs are definitely in safe hands with Trippier and he can continue to be a brilliant tool in Pochettino’s side during the coming years.
