Dele Alli starred in the win over Bournemouth on Sunday – and Tottenham fans on Twitter waxed lyrical about his performance.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder helped Spurs beat Bournemouth 4-1 in the Premier League as they bounced straight back from their Champions League exit at the hands of Juventus.
He scored one and assisted another as they earned a comfortable away victory to jump up to third in the league table.
Alli, Heung-Min Son (two) and Serge Aurier were all on the scoresheet as Mauricio Pochettino’s side bounced back from an early Junior Stanislas goal.
Spurs will be delighted to pick up three more points in the league, but they may have come at a big cost as talisman Harry Kane was forced off injured in the first-half.
Spurs fans on social media decided to rave about Alli after the playmaker’s performance at the weekend and feel he was integral to the result.
The England international has been criticised at different points in the season, but he continues to be a mainstay in the side and is delivering the numbers in front of goal.
He has now scored 10 goals and supplied 16 assists across all competitions this campaign.
