Celtic fans praise Rogic v Motherwell

|

Celtic only managed to take a point from their trip to Fir Park to take on Motherwell in the Premiership on Sunday, but fans have taken to Twitter to rave about the display of midfielder Tom Rogic.

The Hoops made the short trip south knowing that a win over seventh-placed Motherwell would extend their advantage at the top of the table to 12 points, but the game finished 0-0 as the points were shared.

The flashpoint of the first-half saw Motherwell go down to ten men after Cedric Kipre was given his marching orders for a kick out at Celtic skipper Scott Brown.

The Hoops went close in the first period through Rogic and James Forrest, and really turned up the pressure in the second-half but to no avail.

Moussa Dembele should have done better with two close-range headers, Patrick Roberts hit the bar with a rasping left-footed shot and Scott Sinclair missed a glorious chance after being played through on the left flank.

It was not to be however as Celtic saw their lead over Rangers stretch to ten points, with Rogic one of the very few players who put in a decent performance.
