Tottenham are set to begin talks with their key midfielder Mousa Dembele over a new deal, according to the Sun.
The newspaper claims that Spurs may begin discussions with the 30-year-old whose current contract expires at the end of next season.
It is understood that the Belgium international is keen to agree a new deal that pushes his wages towards the £100,000-a-week mark.
Dembele has been a colossal figure during his six-year stay with the North London club and is an integral figure of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Dembele is certainly a big favourite with supporters and the manager, but it’s his overall technical ability and influence that should see Spurs fork out on a new deal worth £100,000-a-week. Spurs need to pay the top fees if they are to continue establishing themselves as a force in England and winning silverware is just the one thing missing from Pochettino’s side.
