Ajer could become Celtic legend

There were countless average displays for Celtic in a match which they should have won easily, but Ajer managed to impress in defence once again for the Hoops. The young Norwegian has been the club’s best defender by miles this season, and showed that again v Motherwell. It is ridiculous to think that the 6ft 4in colossus is still just 19, with his increasingly mature displays smacking of a player advanced beyond his years. Let’s not beat around the bush on this: Ajer has the potential to be a Celtic legend if he wants to. If he is still gracing the centre of the Hoops defence in several years, don’t be surprised if that has indeed come true.
