Ben Davies has raved about his Tottenham teammate Christian Erisken and believes that he makes his side tick.
Eriksen, 26, has become a vital player for Spurs over the years and is now a firm favourite with supporters.
The attacking midfielder has been in excellent touch this campaign, scoring 11 goals and supplying 10 assists across all competition in 38 games.
He is at the centre everything Spurs do in an attacking sense and the playmaker has a great understanding with his fellow forward thinking players.
Spurs defender Davies has waxed lyrical about Denmark international Eriksen and feels he offers so much to the team.
“Christian is a phenomenal player,” Davies said, as quoted by the Daily Star.
“He makes our team tick and when you have a player like that who provides that bit of magic, it’s a joy to play with him.
“It’s not just his goals, but the way he picks up space and links the defence to the attack.”

Eriksen is finally beginning to get the sort of recognition that he deserves and he really does have one of the best footballing brains in the Premier League. The midfield maestro has the technical ability to play in pretty much any team in the world and he would still be able to help pull the strings. Eriksen doesn’t always get the headlines for the North London club, but he must be one of the first names that Mauricio Pochettino selects in his starting XI. He has proven himself to be a quality player for both club and country, but taking the next step really requires adding some silverware to his locker.
