OPINION

Calvert-Lewin has been a decent performer for Everton this season and certainly seems a decent prospect for the future, but a potential promotion to the England senior squad highlights the lack of options. He has been an integral part of the naiton’s youth teams recently and the FA are keen to bring through youngsters to the senior team eventually. Calvert-Lewin started the campaign in brilliant form at Goodison Park and was being used as the main centre-forward at one point. He has slipped down the pecking order recently and his versatility has seen him be used as a winger at times.
