Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce has revealed that key duo Jack Grealish and Albert Adomah are doubts for the trip to Craven Cottage to face Fulham on Saturday, and fans have gone into meltdown on Twitter.
Adomah was a goalscorer against Birmingham City as Villa ran out comfortable 2-0 winners in the Second City Derby last weekend, with Grealish providing the key pass for his goal.
Grealish was named man-of-the-match on the day after a commandeering performance in midfield, but as reported by the Birmingham Mail, the youngster is now a doubt for this weekend after picking up a knock.
Adomah was reportedly struggling with a hamstring injury during the second half of the Birmingham clash, and is also doubtful to face the Cottagers in a double blow.
“There’s a doubt about Adomah and there’s a doubt about Grealish unfortunately. We’ll see how they both are later today,” Bruce said on Thursday.
Villa are going in search of their eighth win in a row in the Championship, with the club now sitting in second place in the table after their amazing recent run.
Opponents Fulham are also in good form having won seven of their last nine games, but a disappointing draw to Bolton last time out halted their charge in it’s tracks.
Fans have taken to Twitter to react to the injury news, and many are seriously worried about the duos’ absence.

Grealish ? feel like Green could come in for Adomah & do a job but we’ll miss Grealish’s drive in midfield big time
